"Lost in the wilderness, captivated by your aura, enraptured by your mere presence,
Here I am, bewildered and vulnerable.
Who are you? What are you?
You drowned me in your ocean of illusions then left me astray.
Life, you are a surreal mix of fact and fantasy, a mystery without a solution, a happening sans a reason…."
Going by these beautiful lines, we realize how blessed we are to wake up every morning to the gleaming rays of the sunlight and witness another new day. Life happens, and before you get enlightened with its worth, you are caught behind in relishing every moment.
There is no right time to do it, yet young age is the perfect time to travel and explore the world. Many of my acquaintances who have waited for the "right time" to travel the world never really did.

Waiting to complete your studies, getting the right job, maintaining enough savings, etc., will only delay your plans to traverse the world and explore the unexplored.
Let's look at the top 10 reasons to travel while you are still young, fellas.
1. Travelling transforms the way you perceive the world
If you do not travel young, you will never be able to step out of your comfortable native bubble and have difficulty envisioning the outside world. Also, an expedition to Mount Everest or a visit to Angkor Wat will change how you perceive History and Geography, the subjects you were fussy about reading back in school.
2. Life is too short; the world is never-ending!
The ultimate truth is that life is short, and nobody lasts an eternity. You can do nothing to ensure a long-lasting life, and no one knows what dreadful might happen the next moment. Explore the world, travel wide and far, travel young!
3. You are at the peak of the health graph-physically and mentally
You are the healthiest when you are young. A healthy body and mind are imperative to travel maximally without fatigue, tension, and risks.

4. The bubbling adrenaline would fuel your carefree attitude
Young people are indeed adrenaline junkies. Trust me; whatever decisions, investments, or instruments you put in to explore the world will be worth it because you realize you can do things you never thought possible.
5. You are not burdened with many responsibilities
When you are young, you are carefree. You are not bogged down by many responsibilities like tending to family, thinking about a career, and dropping off the kids to classes. So, make the most of this time and travel boldly.
6. You will learn the art of budgeting
Travelling will put you into real-life situations, improving your organizational, decision-making skills and street smartness. As you won't have a lot of money at hand, you will be a budget-conscious wanderer.
7. The mistakes you commit become your lessons for the future
You learn from your mistakes. The more you travel, the more situations you will encounter, which will encourage your growth. You will become more mature. When you experience something unfamiliar, you are left with new skills and knowledge. It makes you more appreciative of what you already have.

8. Meet new people, develop better connections, get livelier!
While visiting new places, you will meet some incredible people with whom you will create new memories and share new experiences. By the time you get old, you will have travelled to some eye-opening places and gained some worthy experiences.
9. Travelling empowers you to undertake new challenges
As you get older and reflect upon your past, some moments will bring a smile across your face, while other bygone moments will cause you to regret. Your youth is the time of total empowerment, and you do whatever you wish to! Undertaking new challenges will help you grow as an individual and will open up your horizons.

10. You will get to encounter your genuine desire, passion, and self
When you travel, you have the opportunity to explore where your heart lies. You get to travel passionately and discover yourself. As you develop new acquaintances and visit new places, you develop much as an individual.
The world is indeed a stunning place full of beauty and art. Travel while you are young, and do not squander this time. You might not ever have it again!
